Writers Description

“About.” Growing up in Michigan and later living in New York, I was always vaguely aware of Canada, our neighbour to the north. It was hard to take it seriously as a foreign country, the currency was devalued, the English sounded like ours…But beneath our indifferences was the knowledge that Canada has always existed as a mirror, embodying the promises of freedom that America so often failed to extend to all of us.
